To be listened to
To be supported and loved

How lucky am I to be given this opportunity
To be judged by many
To be called a chink, gook, jap on a daily basis
To be ridiculed for my beliefs
To be broken down over and over again

How lucky am I to be given this opportunity
To take these hits and still move forward
To have found a passion for inspiration
To have found the beauty in the generosity of love
To truly be who I am supposed to be
